SOAR with Solace!

Pi Luna-for website, ad.jpg

April is Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Awareness Month but did you know it is also National Kite Month?

Join us on Sunday, April 27th, at 11:00 AM at Fort Marcy—Magers Field (490 Bishops Lodge Rd) and let your voice—and your kite—soar in support of Solace. Bring your own kite or use one of our beautiful butterfly kites. This fun-filled family event is all about (community) support, organization, advocacy and rallying for a good cause. Enjoy delicious eats from local favorites Jesushi and Taqueria Gracias Madre, and watch the sky come alive with kites. Let’s rally together and soar toward healing and empowerment—  we hope to see you there!

All Proceeds Support Solace's

Sustainability Campaign

Every dollar raised goes directly to our Sustainability Campaign, helping us navigate the on-going federal funding freeze and continue providing essential programs and services. Your support ensures that we can sustain our mission, protect our future, and remain a vital resource for our community.

The Monarch: A Symbol of Strength and Transformation

At Solace, the monarch butterfly represents the journey of survivors—one of transformation, resilience, endurance, and hope. Just as the monarch navigates immense distances, facing challenges along the way, survivors of trauma embark on their own courageous paths toward healing. The monarch’s metamorphosis mirrors the profound change that is possible through support, empowerment, and community. With every step forward, survivors embody the strength of this remarkable creature, emerging with renewed wings to embrace the future.

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is proposing protection for one of the nation’s most beloved species - the monarch butterfly - under the Endangered Species Act.
